In this guide, we’ll demonstrate how to collect key data from a 2019 Audi Q7 using the Xhorse MLB Tool together with the VVDI Key Tool Plus.
Please note that this process requires an online connection and will deduct 200 remote points for data calculation.

Step 1: Enter Immobilizer Programming
On the VVDI Key Tool Plus, follow the path below:
Immo Programming
→ Audi
→ Select by Type
→ MLB Immobilizer Systems
→ Start Programming
This function requires a network connection.
Please ensure the device is properly connected to the internet, then tap OK to continue.
Step 2: Connect the MLB Tool
Select the connection diagram:
Connection Diagram → Type 2 (Audi / Lamborghini)
1. Follow the wiring diagram carefully
2. Solder the circuit board as shown
3. Connect the circuit board to the Xhorse MLB Tool
Once completed, tap “Collect Key Data” on the screen.
Step 3: Confirm Data Collection & Point Deduction
A prompt may appear:
“Detected that the Key Tool Plus does not read the vehicle information data. Continue to acquire data to save, and the immo file will not contain vehicle information. Whether to continue?”
Select:
Yes → Collect Original Keys – Points Deduction
Another confirmation will follow:
“This calculation will deduct 200 remote points. Do you want to continue?”
Select Yes to proceed.
Step 4: Key Data Acquisition
Before pressing OK, pay close attention to the following points:
Important Notes:
1. Connect the acquisition cable to the device exactly according to the wiring diagram.
2. Place the key flat on the sensing area of the device.
3. Ensure the TOP side of the acquisition cable faces upward.
4. Align VCC1 with VCC1 and VCC2 with VCC2 correctly.
Once everything is confirmed, press OK to start data acquisition.
