Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad supports to add smart key for Jeep Compass 2017+ successfully. Need to connect with Xhorse FCA 12+8 Cable for programming. The 12+8 cable also allows programming Dodge 2018+, Chrysler 2018+. 

For operation details, refer to the following:

Plug FCA 12+8 Cable to SGW, and connect with VVDI Key Tool Plus.

Immo programming >> Jeep >> Select from model >> Asia >> Compass >> 2017- >> Keyless go >> Start programming >> OK

We can check the number of key, it is currently 1 key.

Program smart key >> OK

Switch ignition off, turn on the security warning light.

Make sure there are no wireless devices near the smart key.

Keep the smart key to be programmed close to the central console(or start button), then press and release UNLOCK button on the remote once and wait for 5s. Do not press any button during this time.

Note: the new key must be the original key of the current model, otherwise the program may fail.

Match successfully, current key number: 2.

Test all keys, all work well.

This tutorial is taking Dolphin XP005 to cut SC1, KW1 keys as an example.

1. Tighten & install M4 Clamp. Prepare original key & new key, locate the alignment shim.

2. Go to “Universal Key Duplication >> Standard Single Sided >> Shoulder Align >> M4 Clamp”.

3. Insert & fix the original key, aligned it according to tips. Press “Decode key”.

4. Once completed, remove the original key and replace the new one as instructed. Press “Cutting key >> Continue”.

Xhorse Dolphin machine will finish the whole process automatically.

Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus is supported to add the Porsche 1N35H key without soldering. Just working with XDNPP17CH Solder-Free Adapters, it’s easy to be done. Following is the operation procedure.

Note: the Porsche BCM needs to be removed from the vehicle.

Generate Key on bench

Connect Porsche BCM, Solder-Free Adapter&VVDI Key Tool Plus together.

Prog >> IMMO >> Porsche >> Porsche >> BCM-1N35H-BACKUP >> Adapter >> Read >> D-FLASH >> Begin >> Continue

Read successfully.

Rename and save data files.

Put the key to be learned into the VVDI Key Tool Plus coil.

Immo programming >> Porsche >> New Porsche key-generate dealer key >> Start programming >> Generate key >> EEPROM(1N35H) >> Load EEPROM data >> Select blank key position: Key 3

Press “OK” to save new EEPROM data.

Generate key successfully.

Just refresh the newly saved file to the car.

Reassembly the BCM back to Porsche.

Insert the working key into the ignition, press

 Xhorse Dolphin XP-005L system needs to initialize for first use. Learn the steps and basic settings below to start your smart cutting experience.

How to connect Dolphin XP-005L with a smart phone?

1. Download Xhorse APP in App Store/ Google Play, or scan the QR code directly;
2. Power on XP-005Lmachine, open Xhorse APP and switch to the CNC machine interface. Press “Switch Device >> Dolphin II”;
3. Press “Select”to turn on Bluetooth, select XP-005L SN to connect (Users can set up automatic connect according to needs).

 

 

How to do cutting calibration?

1. Press on Dolphin II tablet screen: System >> Machine Parameter >> Cutting Calibration >> Select the cutter diameter installed;

   

 

2. Follow the tips, then press “Start”;

- DO NOT use a cutted key, make sure it’s a brand new HON66 key blank.

- Make sure the probe and cutter at same height.

- Insert M5 clamp and rotate to side A.

 

3. Clean the cutter, probe and working area, press “Continue”to finish.

 

What’s in Dolphin XP-005L System option?

There are 6 main functions in System: machine parameter, system setting, history, my favorite, update center and WLAN connection.

 

Here users can perform basic operations, such as machine calibration, cutting setting, language setting, query history, update version, WLAN connection, etc.

 

• Machine Parameter

Here users can self test machine, calibrate various parameters, set cutter diameter, cutter speed and move speed during cutting.

1. Cutting setting: set the spindle speed, move speed, cutter diameter and buzzer switch.

 

2. Cutting calibration: calibrate machine for first use.
3. Self test

- Deviation detection: detect M5 clamp parameters.

- Motor measurement: check the status of X, Y, Z axis and spindle motor.

- Electrical conductivity: test the conductivity of probe and clamp, milling cutter and clamp.

- Altitudes detection: check whether the height of the probe and the milling cutter are on the same level.

 

4. Parameter list: display relative parameters between probe and milling cutter recorded by the machine.

 

• System Setting

1. Language setting: change system language, covers English, Spanish, French, Thai, Polish, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Hebrew, Korean, Indonesian, Chinese.
2. Set password: a startup password can be set to prevent children from touching the machine.
3. Unit setting: set millimeters and inches freely as common units.
