Read the Mcu Mc9s12 with xprog plus hc(s)12 adapter

Question: I need to read the MCU Mc9s12 with xprog, its adapter does not exist, can it with hc(s)12 adapter be read? is it the same adapter?

This is the correct adapter to read  mc9s12, and some hc can use this adapter some there are dedicated adapters. I have tested on the same mcu on cas 2 using Xhorse vvdi 2, spinout.
